CC Records Presents at The Silver Bullet Gig Review
On Friday 17th January I held my first CC Records Night at The Silver Bullet. The genres on show on this amazing evening was alternative rock.
First up on the night was the amazing Roger Blackman who opened his set with an instrumental that he has written which is titled 'The Outlaw. He closed the set with 'Nothing Else Matters' by Metallica He then carried on his set with ease to help get everyone in the mood for a long night of rock music. San Blas was the second act of the evening and the certainly didn't disappoint as they got the whole crowd dancing and swaying to their acoustic rock songs. San Blas was formed by Sam Thornton and his cousin Rob Bell. Watch out for this band as I think they will certainly be a band to watch out for over the next twelve months. If you want to book them for a gig then be sure to check out their facebook page and get in touch well in advance. They're always looking for shows so they will definitely be one of the acts to book as soon as possible as they will be in very high demand
San Blas at The Silver Bullet
The third act of the evening was the incredible Jack Darby. He is slowly making a name for himself in London music scene by playing some really good rock songs about general life and travelling around to new places. He made everyone in the silent and attentive as they soon realized that they would be listening to a very unique artist who is strongly influenced by some of the greatest rock bands of all time such as The Beatles, The Who and Pink Floyd. The Berries were the fourth act of evening and they made sure everyone as dancing and attentive as they're certainly a band to watch out for over in the unsigned music circuit during 2014. I was particularly impressed with the way the three piece interacted with each other. The bassist and guitarist and drummer never put a foot wrong during the set. Also Holly Carter the lead singer of the The Berries sang with distinctive energy and verve. This made the crowd realise that she is someone who has a really good stage persona. Other promoters in London should definitely think about
booking this very talented three piece as you certainly know that they will always deliver a good show.

The Berries at The Silver Bullet
The Toffees were the last act of this fantastic rock night in one of North London's most popular venues. The Toffees carried on where The Berries left off and got everyone listening attentively to their set. They played a blinding half an hour set of their alternative rock songs which got everyone dancing and swaying. Toffees will be a band watch out for this year as they've changed so much since they have added a bassist and a drummer to the band. Since acquiring these new additions the band seems to have a distinctive edge to their live sound. This always good to hear as too many bands in today's music industry sound the same and it's always good to be unique.
From listening to their set you could also tell that they're heavily influenced by some really famous rock bands such as Greenday and Oasis If you want to check them out, then check out their soundcloud and facebook below.
