It's hasn't been plane sailing all the time for Bairbre she has put to be determined and not feel down when things haven't gone so well. But the good times have well and truely come for over the last eighteen months. She was the winner of the RTE 2FM songwriting competition the final. This was broadcasted live from Vicar Street.
She's appeared on Balcony TV various times and was nominated for their Best Female Act.
On International Women's Day in 2012, Bairbre wrote a hit song called "Distance" which has got 822 views.

Since then she's been gigging in venues nationwide such as The Ruby Sessions, The Old Queens Head and The Watergate Theatre.
Bairbre has completed several recording including two EP's. Her second EP 'Helium Heart' is really starting to grow on me. The folky vibes in all the song on this EP are best played on a late spring evening or cold winters night. It's perfect music to listen to after a long stressful week, her folky soulful voice will get you in the mood for a good night out.
